Buth Bheag is an independent handmade candle company based in the beautiful Isle of Harris, Scotland. This week I was sent a sample of two of their popular scented candles to review for you and I can’t tell you how impressed I am with both the quality and fragrance!
Like a lot of girls, I’m a little candle obsessed at the moment! I usually buy high end scented ones from Yankee Candle or for special occasions Diptyque but pay a lot for them. It’s rare that you find a candle range that smell amazing without a hefty price tag.
Buth Bheag is the first range I’ve tried and tested that has the same quality fragrance as the high end brands and half the price. Their full candle range is inspired and named after the stunning beaches surrounding the Scottish isles and I was lucky enough to trial two, ‘Losgaintir’ and ‘Huisinis’, read my reviews below!
Pink Champagne and Pomelo.
Husinis Beach, Isle of Harris.
As you probably already know, I love champagne (what girl doesn’t?) So when I read that the Huisinis collection was a blend of citrus fruits, Brazilian orange and sweet grapefruit, I was sold! After all, every girl needs a pink champagne flavoured candle!
Losgaintir sands, Isle of Harris.
It’s not surprising why they’ve nicknamed this candle ‘Paradise Beach’, the combination of fresh bergamot, bright orange and rich amber remind me of beach sunsets, tanned skin and perfect summers. The almond and vanilla notes are quite warming, this candle is ideal to burn at dinner parties, romantic nights in or late evening drinks with friends.
These stunning scented candles are the perfect addition to your home just in time for spring, make sure to visit their brand new mobile friendly website
