I’m so excited to share this post with you all as I feel like working with this brand sums up perfectly the reasons why I love being a blogger. For those of you who have followed my blog for a little while – you may have read my previous post back in April reviewing Buth Bheag Candle Co.
Since the spring this luxury brand has gone from strength to strength with the help of bloggers and influencers from across the UK sharing the love for their stunning range of products. They have now landed themselves over 30 stockists and two brand new shops.
Sometimes when a project or new venture takes shape and naturally progresses a re-brand can be a really exciting and refreshing way to move forward and celebrate the success you’ve made. When the team announced the re-brand I instantly couldn’t wait to see what this meant for them as a company; I was pleasantly suprised to see that they are still taking their inspiration from their beautiful home of the Scottish Isles by keeping their scents named after the many beaches that make up the stunning coastline.
SENT WITH LOVE
When I opened the parcel up to reveal the two beautifully packaged items I thought for a moment what good gifts they would make. The re-brand has taken on a slightly more mature, sophisticated vibe.
You can tell as soon as you open the box that it’s a luxury item – from the on trend marble exterior to the minimal, slick glassware. Each and every perfectly executed little detail completely sets Essence of Harris apart from the other brands on the market. Everything down to their scent collections, packaging and brand story is unique and you truly feel like you have a little bit of paradise in your home when you purchase from them.
Each scent collection comes in a different colour palette, each with rose gold lettering which makes the new range ideal for gifts with the festive season coming around.
Another reason that makes this new collection special is the fact they’ve gone right back to basics by discussing how each of the candles and reed diffusers are made on the side of the packaging. Absolutely every single item is hand-poured with love in the Isle of Harris and you can even learn more about the creators of the brand on the ‘Our Team’
section of their website.
WINTER SCENT REVIEW:
A sophisticated, deep and sensual scent with top notes of pomegranate, plum and rose.
Warm, cosy and not too overpowering. It’s also a very natural scent, sometimes in the past I’ve purchased room sprays and diffusers that are way too strong and almost have an artificial scent.
Each of their diffuser ranges come the 100ml size which will usually last for up to 12 weeks. Ideal for Christmas in the living room or bedroom.

Camden has always been one of my favourites spots in London – both for shopping and enjoying the colourful nightlife. I celebrated my 18th birthday in a club called ‘Proud’ situated in the famous horse stables market & had the most amazing time. Camden is in a league of its own with a huge food market, hundreds of independent stalls and super friendly atmosphere. There isn’t anywhere else like it – which is why I love spending time there.
On a recent visit, I walked down the cobbled market street and literally fell in love with a coat. Honest. I don’t know if it’s my love for fashion and styling or if I’m just a certified shopaholic but when I fall in love with an item of clothing, I have to have it.
Outfit Details: Faux Fur Coat, £129 Unit 11c, Camden Lock Market. Chunky Knit Jumper, £65, Zara. Joni Jeans, £39, Topshop. Cut Out Boots, £32.99 New Look.
At first I was struck by the super plush white faux fur hood, which can easily be detached so that you can wear the coat more casually or when it’s not so cold. I am a sucker for anything faux fur at the best of times but this coat encapsulates everything I love about styling for winter in one item. The oversized design combined with the soft tailoring detail is stunning & makes the coat an eye catching statement piece – ideal for when you want to still feel glam when it’s freezing outside!
The coat is one size, which can sometimes be a complete nightmare but it turned out to be my lucky day and the fit was perfect. With it being a Korean design I had a feeling when I put it on for the first time that it would be miles too small, but I was pleasantly surprised – the sizing translates to a UK 10/12/14 depending on desired fit.
Personally, I like to style the coat with a chunky knit underneath and keep the rest of the outfit minimal. The coat is a typical Korean design with a flattering dipped hem and darted sleeves. There’s something a little All Saints-y about the cut and shape of the coat – the material is also very similar to the heavy industrial standard fabrics that All Saints have recently used for their capsule AW collection.
If you’re a Londoner like me or even if you’ve got plans to visit soon, I would highly recommend visiting Unit 11c, their unusual designs are well worth browsing and the staff are absolutely lovely. For stock availability please contact 02074286483.
