I’m so excited to share this post with you all as I feel like working with this brand sums up perfectly the reasons why I love being a blogger. For those of you who have followed my blog for a little while – you may have read my previous post back in April reviewing Buth Bheag Candle Co.

Since the spring this luxury brand has gone from strength to strength with the help of bloggers and influencers from across the UK sharing the love for their stunning range of products. They have now landed themselves over 30 stockists and two brand new shops.

Sometimes when a project or new venture takes shape and naturally progresses a re-brand can be a really exciting and refreshing way to move forward and celebrate the success you’ve made. When the team announced the re-brand I instantly couldn’t wait to see what this meant for them as a company; I was pleasantly suprised to see that they are still taking their inspiration from their beautiful home of the Scottish Isles by keeping their scents named after the many beaches that make up the stunning coastline.

When I opened the parcel up to reveal the two beautifully packaged items I thought for a moment what good gifts they would make. The re-brand has taken on a slightly more mature, sophisticated vibe.

You can tell as soon as you open the box that it’s a luxury item – from the on trend marble exterior to the minimal, slick glassware. Each and every perfectly executed little detail completely sets Essence of Harris apart from the other brands on the market. Everything down to their scent collections, packaging and brand story is unique and you truly feel like you have a little bit of paradise in your home when you purchase from them.

Each scent collection comes in a different colour palette, each with rose gold lettering which makes the new range ideal for gifts with the festive season coming around.

Another reason that makes this new collection special is the fact they’ve gone right back to basics by discussing how each of the candles and reed diffusers are made on the side of the packaging. Absolutely every single item is hand-poured with love in the Isle of Harris and you can even learn more about the creators of the brand on the ‘Our Team’ section of their website.

A sophisticated, deep and sensual scent with top notes of pomegranate, plum and rose.
(Black Pomegranate Reed Diffuser, £17. Available at
Warm, cosy and not too overpowering. It’s also a very natural scent, sometimes in the past I’ve purchased room sprays and diffusers that are way too strong and almost have an artificial scent.
Each of their diffuser ranges come the 100ml size which will usually last for up to 12 weeks. Ideal for Christmas in the living room or bedroom.

I’ve always considered myself a bit of a magpie for all things shiny and metallic, so when I first saw this dress, I knew I had to have it!

Last Autumn I found myself getting back into shirt dresses and soft tailoring, I adore the combination of cutesy fabrics like satin and silk contrasted with traditional buttoned sleeves and collars. I consider myself to be half tomboy so this style reflects my personality perfectly!

I styled this look with a pair of bang on trend studded heels which I managed to get in the sale at Missguided, they’re currently at 67% off and cost just £10, absolute must have purchase! What I like about these shoes is the heel, from the side they look like traditional stilettos, however they actually have a wide heel which is 100x more comfortable to wear and party all night long in!

Studs are making a huge comeback this winter, you can shop my favourite studded garments (including the super hot heart studded Saint Lauren leather that took Milan fashion week by storm) in the Shop my Style section.

Adding studded accessories is a quick and easy way to make a smart/dressy outfit more relaxed and chic, if you’re new to this trend have a look at the images below for inspiration. Designers such as Louis Vuitton and Valentino have incorporated studs into their most famous collections…

Being 5’9, some dresses can make me feel shapeless which is why I’ve always been a fan of the wrap style dresses that tie in at the waist. This detailing brings attention to your smallest area (the waist) and gives the illusion of an hourglass figure, perfect for tall girls like me, or girls with a small bust that want to accentuate their curves.

The satin material of this dress itself is also very flattering, the fabric doesn’t cling or stick like some do. Instead, it hangs perfectly and the rouched detailing at the front combined with the deep plunge neckline gives this dress the all round wow factor.

If you love this look you can shop it here:

Katalea Twist Shirt Dress, Pretty Little Thing, £28, available in 13 colours.

Studded Pointed Tie Barely There Heels, Missguided, £10.

Total outfit cost £38.

First of all, Happy New Year to all of you! I really hope you had a fantastic festive break and spent it with your loved ones. New Year is such a good time to reflect on the last episode of your life and think about what new goals you want to work towards in this new chapter. If you’re in need of some motivation or tips on how to stick to your resolutions then have a read of my New Year Motivation post.
In this blog post I’m reviewing one of my new favourite accessory brands which I cannot wait to share with you! It’s rare that you come across an independent brand that has both incredible products and a super friendly team working behind the scenes. Personally, I feel as a blogger it’s important for me to only share with you the companies and brands that I truly love and support, that I feel proud to be associated with and honoured to wear.
I first heard about US brand Kozha Numbers while  on holiday last year, I was recommended to take a look at them online by a friend. So I headed straight to their stunningly chic Instagram page and instantly fell in love! Their sleek leather designs are minimal and sophisticated – making them the ideal accessory for pretty much any outfit combination.
KOZHA NUMBERS Cardlet, $34 KOZHA NUMBERS Cashlet, $72.
The two products I knew I had to add to my Christmas list! I’d been on the search for a new purse for a while as my old one was falling apart at the seams! Plus recently relocating back to London meant that I was also keen to purchase a Cardlet, just a little wallet style pouch which keeps your cash card or oyster safe when you’re travelling. I would highly recommend purchasing one of these as they eliminate the hassle of pulling out your purse every time you want to touch in or out on the tube.
Both the Cardlet and Cashlet from Kozha Numbers are made from super soft and sleek  latigo leather and fasten with a thin silicone string which wraps around the purse keeping your items safe inside. Both products also feature the stunning Kozha Numbers logo which I’m a huge fan of. The gold writing against the high quality black leather is just stunning and so unique. If like me you have a love for simple minimal designs which have a big impact, you need to get to know this brand!
Kozha Numbers have an exceptional range of products on their website – all which follow the same slick and minimal design. You can browse the full collection by clicking here.

KOZHA NUMBERS, The Large Ket, $295.

Thanks for reading & Happy New Year !

This week I received a very special package from my favourite candle brand Buth Bheag Candle co. You may have already read about this brand on my blog back in April this year where I reviewed two candles from both the Losgaintir and Huisinins collection. You can catch up here.

Since my last post the company has been going from strength to strength with mini pop up shops and the launch of several new fragrances. It’s always a joy to collaborate with independent, ambitious brands that have created a unique and exciting product; Buth Bheag Candle Co. are the ultimate pleasure to work with, from the team to the products, it’s the ultimate luxury experience.

In this post I’m going to review two products each from new collections that have launched this year – both of which I absolutely love! Plus, this is my first festive post of the year which makes me so excited!

Cranberry Christmas Candle

“A festive combination of cranberries, orange and cinnamon with floral back notes on a base of sandal, cedar, musk vanilla and sugar.”

If like me, you love Christmas and all things festive, you have to get your hands on the new Christmas collection. When I first opened the box the scent reminded me of all things festive and when lit, the candle fills the room with a gorgeous rich fragrance. I wanted to point out that a lot of scented Christmas candles can become quite headachey after a while but this one is completely different. The soy formula burns slower than most candles I’ve purchased in the past, they also last a lot longer than most other brands I’ve tried.

The Christmas collection features wax melts and reed diffusers so you can choose which product works best with your household. One thing I really like about the Christmas candle is the glass jar and festive design – it makes the perfect centre piece for the dinner table or little addition to the mantle piece.

“Stimulating and sensual – evoking the tranquil beauty of an exotic eastern garden. Top notes of tangy lemongrass, Sicilian lemons and juicy limes lead into a heart of spicy ginger root and grated nutmeg, and a hint of refreshing eucalyptus. Base notes include sensual patchouli, white woods and creamy vanilla.”

This candle is very different from their other collections, this luxury scent is incredibly refreshing – the citrus burst makes you feel instantly uplifted, to me, this is the ideal scent to burn in the morning or to have in the bathroom.

I recently went for dinner at Sketch, the famous French restaurant in Mayfair, London and I remembered they has numerous Diptyque candles burning – the scent was very fresh and citrus based much like the Horgabost collection. When I first smelt this candle, I was reminded of that night – the scents are practically identical however Diptyque candles start at £40, four times the price of Buth Bheag’s collection! Not only do they use the very best ingredients – each scent is blended to perfection. What I love about this brand is the fact you can enjoy luxury in your home for less.

The deisgn of the Horgabost collection is similar to their previous collections with a minimal design. The chic packaging gives them a sophisticated edge and the greyscale beach scene on the sides is a reminder that each and every candle has been hand poured in the beautiful Isle of Harris.

So as some of you may already know I’ve relocated back to my hometown of London and last week my good friend and fellow blogger babe Lauren came down to see me before an event – which called for shopping! We visited the one and only Selfridges first and browsed the designer jewellery sections on the first floor and that’s when I fell in love…

In the Chanel section, I spotted a coin style necklace on one of the mannequins which they’d styled with a classic two piece blazer and skirt suit. The necklace caught my eye as soon as I walked in because of its intricate detail and striking design. After seeing the full selection and trying on several items, Lauren and I decided to go to the Chanel flagship store on New Bond Street to browse their collection and compare it to Selfridges.

When we arrived I basically became the love heart eye emoji and got a little bit excited about the new A/W accessories campaign, not to mention the ready to wear capsule collection on the first floor! When one of the advisers approached us, I explained what I had seen at the Selfridges concession and the assistant then showed us their jewellery display. The Chanel flagship had a much bigger and varied selection of jewellery, I would recommend visiting the store as opposed to Selfridges, I would point out that the service is much better at the Chanel store too.

The necklace itself is timeless. The medallion style is similar to the vintage Chanel pieces which sell for over £16,000 on the vintage classic markets and the rich deep golden colour gives it that high end designer edge.

What I like best about the necklace is how you can adjust it to suit your mood. The necklace has two length options both of which I love.

When the necklace is set to its shorter length which is near enough a choker style, the excess golden chain hangs down your back with the tiny Chanel logo at the bottom. This style is absolutely ideal to wear with backless dresses along with a slick up-do to show off the stunning design.

The second longer setting is the one I choose to wear on a day to day basis as it looks fabulous either over a top or hanging down underneath a shirt.

For anyone looking for that perfect accessory to add instant style to any outfit this necklace is for you. It’s the perfect combination of class and elegance, its understated small detailing  is eye catching in an enchanting way. I find a lot of designer necklaces to be very ‘in your face’ and brash – this piece is the opposite.

Another benefit to this necklace is that the beautiful design is so striking that it doesn’t need earrings, bracelets or even rings to match. Less really is more when it comes to accessorising an outfit.

If this post has inspired you to shop, I can recommend my adviser Yaneff at Chanel New Bond Street for appointments.

Thank you for reading,

This week I wanted to share with you a super easy nail art effect. For a while now I’ve been obsessed with all things marble, I love the simple, monochrome design and when I came across a photo on Instagram of some marble nail art, I had to recreate it!

This clean and elegant design looks best with an all black or matching monochrome outfit and the same marble technique can be applied on top of any colour. To achieve this stunning nail effect, read my step by step tutorial below!

IMG_6167 (1)
Remove any old polish with True Brit London’s new Strawberries and Cream acetone free remover. I like to use circular cotton pads.
TIP: Hold the pad on the nail for 10 seconds and then wipe off.
Buff nails and shape before applying any varnish. Short squared nails look great with the marble effect.
IMG_6169 (1)
Protect your nail with Nails Inc A&E base coat. I swear by this product, it prevents flaking and prolongs the colour applied on top.
IMG_6171 (1)
Apply a coat of Essie nail polish in the shade ‘Blanc’, allow 30 seconds to dry and apply another coat to give your nails a more solid colour.
Allow to dry! While you wait why not catch up on some of my previous posts here!

Using Collection 2000’s fast stroke eye-liner in black draw lines onto each nail in a marbled pattern, you can take some inspo from the images below…Also, as long as you apply the liner on dry nails, you can use this for your eyes too, it’s one of the best quick drying liners I’ve ever used!
TIP: Alternate thick and thin strokes and don’t be scared to be creative!
Allow the liner to dry (30 seconds/1 minute) then apply OPI’s Top Coat to keep it super shiny and chip free!
Be the envy of all your friends with your new marble nails! Drop me a photo in the comments section if you get a chance to try it at home!

Following on from my first post which showcased the gorgeous bohemian ‘Cloud Nine’ headband. The Kitten Crown range is much more delicate but just as stunning. These unique handmade crowns are the perfect accessory for a night out with the girls or they would even make a sweet treat for Halloween which is coming up next month!

These pretty little floral ears have been seen on Katy Perry, Adriana Grande and even famous feline Taylor Swift!

Each and every single one of the beautiful Crowns made at Candy Flower HQ in Bristol has been handmade so instead of buying a hairpiece from a highstreet store, Candy Flower offers a unique alternative as each one is slightly different. As the summer ends and I find myself digging out my winter wardrobe, I also begin to look at ways to warm up the interior of my house to get it looking cosy in time for the winter. Although I love the summer months when it’s sunny outside and the house feels light and airy, there’s actually nothing I love more than snuggling up on a cold night inside a huge throw and watching my favourite films. But how do we make this transition? I’ve created this post to give you a little bit of inspiration and show you how I give my home a little autumn glow to keep nice and cosy as the cold starts to draw in!
